1. Looks 8/10
I love the look of this shoe. The seamless toe looks great, as well as the unique stitching patterns found all over the shoe. It is a very classy design for a skate shoe, yet it still keeps that unique look that skate shoes have.
2. Durability 5.5/10
The durability of these shoes is nothing to get excited about. The sole wears down very quickly near the toe, although you never actually tear through the upper. I had a unique problem with these shoes as well. The lace area tore up quite a bit, so much that I couldn't even re-lace these shoes after taking out the thrashed laces (if you are confused, there are pictures at the end to show you what I mean). This shoe does not have tongue straps (the 2 elastic-like pieces of fabric found on the left and right of most tongues), so wearing these shoes without laces is damn near impossible, unless you want your shoes falling off every step.
3. Comfort 8.5/10
I loved the comfort of these shoes. Perfect amount of padding, yet enough to give you decent boardfeel. The tongue was great, it was perfect in the width, not to thick, not too thin. besides the ankle area, the rest of the shoe is quite thin. In my opinion, these shoes had amazing comfort.
4. Boardfeel 7/10
Nothing incredible here, but it was still above average. Since this is a cupsole shoe, there isn't too much more to ask for than what this shoe offers.
5. Grip 8.5/10
If you're reading this review, you've most likely heard of the grip on the B. Herman 2. Believe what you hear, this shoe has some amazing grip. Dubbed "Non-Slip Desert Grip" by Emerica, this shoe has a unique tread pattern that allows flex, and still lets you keep your feet on the grip. This had very minimal wear, with slight wear at the tip of the toe, and at the heel.
