Review - Lakai Koston Select

Looks - 10/10, these shoes are simple and sexy, and was one of the reasons i bought them, i had the blue suede colorway.

Boardfeel - 14/10 cant get much better boardfeel than this, you can almost feel where your bolts are, so much boardfeel its ridiculous. And there is good boardfeel right out of the box, and within an hour of skating they are perfect. If you wanna accelerate the break in process, microwave em for 25 seconds and then use the mash up method and voila! boardfeel from heaven.

Comfort - good when your not skating, when i put these shoes on they felt heavenly, and i kept them on my feet all the time, so comfy.

Impact support - 2/10, terrible impact support, if your doing anything bigger than a 3 set your gunna be feeling it. The insoles in these shoes suck, and provide almost zero support and the gel-heel does next to nothing, i replaced the insole with a supra insole and a Dr. Scholl's insole and sets still hurt my feet. If you skate sets alot this is not the shoe for you.

Durability 9/10 - pretty good, I stopped skating them after 3 weeks cause they were so thin but the suede never ripped, and didn't seem like it was coming close to ripping, grip had a small hole in the toe, but that was my fault, dragged it all the way down a hill

Grip - 8/10 - grip was interesting, not alot of grip out of the box, but after you skate them for a week there is plenty of grip. Lots of grip on the sides but less on the bottom, its an interesting combination but you get used to it. And the grip didn't bottom out at all in 3 weeks, and most of my shoes that happens to.

Overall - 9/10 if you dont skate sets and 4/10 if you skate sets, great boardfeel if your a tech ledge skater, but its hell if you like sets, bailing down 9 sets kills you, I didn't like these shoes for that reason and i skate mostly sets, but if your a ledge killer then pick these up.
